Location

Acton Memorial Library, Acton

Do not be deterred by this complicated topic!

There are some huge opportunities to save money on clean energy technologies!  Drawing on excellent local and national resources (the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, the Green Energy Consumers Alliance, and Rewiring America), EnergizeActon.org team members will summarize the tax credits and rebates available on the state and national level, including a breakdown by technology. Easy to decipher charts and resources links will be available.

What is the Climate Café? Local people with experience in clean energy technology and sustainability share their insights and answer questions from others who are considering these technologies or looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprints. Each Wednesday through July and August we will consider a different topic with a technical or environmental focus.  All sessions are at the Acton Memorial Library, from 5-6pm. Weather permitting, we will be outdoors behind the library, so feel free to bring a picnic or grab a slice of pizza. If it is wet, we will be indoors in the library’s first floor meeting room. (Sorry, food is discouraged indoors.) No registration needed.

Co-sponsored by EnergizeActon.org and the Acton Memorial Library.
